Priced per project, not per person.
Construction projects bring in specialists for a question, a review, a signature. Charging a full seat every time someone answers an @mention would keep those people out — and their answers are often the ones you need most. So Strata prices the project: a high number of core team seats is included, and guest consultants read and comment without a paid seat.
Core team seats included at a high limit. Specialist guest access for read and comment included — not a full seat per @mention.
Early access — pilot pricing is set together with each pilot customer.
Three ways to start
Pilot
One active project — new build, retrofit, or fit-out.
- One project workspace: requirements, tasks, @chat, evidence thread
- Core team seats included — up to 25 (illustrative ceiling)
- Guest consultants: read and comment included, not metered
- Founder-led onboarding on your project type
- Email support from the people who build Strata

What changes when you stop buying seats
| Per-seat tools | Strata | |
|---|---|---|
| The meter | Every person costs — so teams ration invites | The project costs — so the real project graph joins |
| A consultant answers one @mention | Often needs a full paid seat | Included as a read-and-comment guest |
| Adding the tenant team | A budget conversation | Part of the project |
| Budgeting unit | Headcount — how software is bought | Project — how construction is budgeted |
Questions we hear
Do consultants and specialists need paid seats?
No — not for read and comment. Guests open a link, see the question, and reply in a safe space. They cannot change procurement state, and they do not need a license. Paid seats are for the core team running the project.
How many core seats are included?
A high limit per project (currently 25 on Pilot, illustrative until list prices are set). The intent is that you never think twice about inviting the planner, the PM, or the tenant lead.
Is this cheaper than adding seats in our PM tool?
That is the wrong race. Strata replaces the reconciliation labor between your tools — the spreadsheet, the email archaeology, the evidence hunt at closeout. We are happy to walk through what that costs you today, on a call.
Do you charge per audit or per evidence pack?
No. Evidence is the point of the product. Metering it would encourage rationing proof — the opposite of what a project needs.
Can we buy online right now?
Not yet. Early access is demo-led: we walk your project type together, agree a pilot, and set pilot pricing with you. No self-serve checkout, no surprise invoices.
What about procurement, DPA, and security reviews?
Enterprise/framework customers get a data processing agreement, an EU hosting confirmation, a permissions brief, and security questionnaire support. Ask on the demo call and we will send the pack.
Does Strata replace iTWO, our CDE, or PlanRadar?
No. Strata sits alongside them and replaces the reconciliation spreadsheet between them. See the stack table.
